10/03/2011 - Australia’s largest office product retailer, Officeworks, has announced that it will adopt the GS1net data synchronisation service and has urged suppliers who trade with them to join the service also. Mary Riekert
GS1net is a repository of standardised and authenticated product, price and dimension data for many products sold in Australia.
Hosted by GS1 Australia, GS1net supports a large and growing community of supplier catalogues in Australia.
Officeworks has written a letter to suppliers outlining the steps it requires suppliers to take to begin data synchronisation.
The project commenced in March this year and aims to implement GS1net as the standard process for exchanging master data by the end of the year.
