Packaging, processing under one roof at AUSPACK PLUS
20/07/2012 - Every two years the packaging, food and beverage industries have the opportunity to see packaging and processing machinery under one roof at AUSPACK PLUS.
In Sydney in 2013, visitors will be able to see a broad range of working machinery — including equipment from the latest round of exhibitors, Fibre King and insignia — showcasing labelling solutions, new I-tech coding technology, case packers, palletisers, meat and crate equipment.
"Our stand at the 2011 AUSPACK PLUS was the busiest it has ever been and we had the rare opportunity to be able to meet the majority of our Australian clients and contacts in one location over four days," Earle Roberts, Fibre King, chief executive officer, said.
"An opportunity like this is no small feat considering Fibre King has been engineering packaging machines in Australia for over 50 years. Exhibiting at AUSPACK PLUS is a great way to say hello, exchange ideas and to see what is happening in the broader packaging industry.
"In order to showcase some ground-breaking sustainable technology, we have secured a prime position for AUSPACK PLUS 2013. Fibre King case packers, palletisers, meat and crate equipment are renowned for their reliability, however our overall promise is to deliver peace of mind. Reduced operating costs and reduced carbon footprint are now a major part of our design focus and we are looking forward to sharing a new innovation or two in May 2013."
On-line industrial supplier directory IndustrySearch will also be exhibiting at AUSPACK PLUS 2013.
Industry Search is Australia's leading industrial supplier directory and information resource for packaging, manufacturing, mining, engineering, transport, construction, electronics and more. This includes a category dedicated to packaging. Around 200,000 buyers use IndustrySearch each month to keep up to date with the latest industry news, products and suppliers.
According to Brad Jeavons, National Sales Manager- Labeling Systems, insignia, AUSPACK PLUS is considered to be the industry's premier packaging event.
"Exhibiting at AUSPACK PLUS allows the opportunity to showcase our range of Domino, Bixolon, Datamax O'Neil, Zebra and Intermec labelling and coding solutions, as well as custom-made labels," Jeavons said.
"We are looking forward to showcasing Domino's new I-tech coding technology; which has been Domino's top research and development priority for the past 5 years. The new I-tech technology covers a range of products including automated print and apply labeling, continuous ink-jet coding, thermal ink-jet, laser, and thermal transfer overprint."
AUSPACK PLUS 2013 is a 'must-attend' exhibition on the Australian Packaging and Processing calendar and will be held at the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park from Tuesday the 7th to Friday the 10th of May 2013.
AUSPACK PLUS is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), Australia's only national packaging and processing machinery organisation.
