The Strahman Kwik Clean 3 Pre-Rinse Nozzle has recently been awarded the Kitchen Innovations Award 2011, by the National Restaurant Association, USA. The KI award is a prestigious honour, recognising groundbreaking innovations in the foodservice kitchen equipment market. The Kwik Clean 3 is an ultra-high efficiency, pre-rinse nozzle that provides ultra-high performance and industry-leading reliability for restaurants, commercial kitchens and all other food serving & food manufacturing operations. It is the only pre-rinse nozzle that incorporates three spray pattern choices in a single nozzle; fan spray, solid stream and patented triple action. Rubber is used on the Kwik Clean 3 for easy handling and protection purposes; on the grip for wear durability & comfort, on the handle for easy gripping and on the nose cone to allow for quick and effortless spray pattern changes.
The Kwik Clean 3 uses less than 1 gpm of both water & sewage and it cleans in a world-record time of 15.6 seconds*; less time than other pre-rinse nozzles even using twice the water flow. Previous generations of pre-rinse nozzles use up to 4 gpm and take over 30 seconds to clean. Comparing this, along with competitor pre-rinse nozzles and the Kwik Clean 3 offers up to 35% better efficiency, lower water use, significant labour savings (up to $1000 in operating costs each year, based on US tests) and up to 5000 pounds/year of CO2 emissions in a year.
