Advanced Credit Management for Microsoft Dynamics™ AX enables the control of customer credit levels with additional credit control options and workflow to hold orders and manage the release of orders.
In addition to the standard Microsoft Dynamics™ AX credit control options a customers’ trading terms can be used to trigger a credit exception. “Days of grace” can be used to provide a buffer of how far outside of trading terms a customer can be before the credit hold functionality is triggered.
Central to the advanced credit management are credit hold messages, which are sent to the “Credit Hold” form. The Credit Hold form acts as a credit controller’s cockpit and can be used to manage the release of an order which has been credit held.
For example, if a picking list update triggered the credit hold, then on release of the credit hold the picking list will be generated automatically, ensuring transactions are not double handled.
KEY FEATURES of Advanced Credit Management for Microsoft Dynamics AX:
- Greater administrative control is achieved over customer processing.
- Posting is aborted if a trading term is breached, and logged in a credit control table.
- Exceptions logged in the credit control table are displayed in latest to oldest date.
- The ability to ‘release’ orders for processing is limited to a defined user group.
- A feature key has been created called ‘Customer Credit Release’. This feature key limits access to the credit control view.
