Bud-Pak Pty Ltd - Bud-Pak Packaging Systems is currently commissioning another Fuji-Ace Palletising Robot at CSD's new soya flour plant at Westbrook, near Toowoomba, Queensland.

Bud-Pak is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accuweigh (Australia's largest Industrial Weighing & Packaging Company) and recently won the $800,000 contract for supplying this turnkey packaging system that is currently undergoing final commissioning.

Because of the limited floor space, the Fuji-Ace palletising robot is used to place the empty pallets on the loading station conveyor. The robot also places slip sheets onto the pallet prior to stacking the bags.

A Technipes automatic stretch wrapper and top sheet applicator is used to wrap the loaded pallets, which are then transferred through to the warehouse for removal and storage by forklift.

Bud-Pak is based in Newcastle and utilises the resources and packaging experience of the numerous Accuweigh branches spread across Australia to ensure all large projects like the CSD Grains contract are completed within the required time frame and in a cost effective manner to the overall benefit of the client.
