SEW-EURODRIVE - The beverage and food industry and the chemical and pharmaceutical industry place high hygiene demands on production facilities.

The drive solutions used in the past made it very hard to clean production systems as thoroughly as required.

Standard motors often come equipped with cooling fins and fans in which dirt can accumulate and germs and bacteria may be distributed in air swirls.

Aseptic DAS series gearmotors have a smooth surface and are not equipped with fans.

Aseptic DAS Gearmotors - DAS Series comply as standard with IP69K protection in accordance with German industrial standard 40050-9: Water-protected with high pressure/steam jet cleaning with 80- 100 bar and at a water temperature of up to 80 °C (176 .°F).
