The UT screw connection system is universal in that it can be used in any application. The characterising features of the screw connection system are its ability to accept multiple conductor connection and extremely high contract strengths. In addition, the UT system incorporates the Reakdyn principle developed by Phoenix Contact to ensure optimal screw locking. The screw connection system is suitable for all industries and accepted worldwide.
Spring-cage connection is the proven system for applications where vibration can cause connection problems. The ST connection system ensures the spring always exerts a constant force on the conductor, regardless of the influence of the person wiring the terminal. The front connection design not only reduces space, but simplifies installation.
The fast connection QTC system allows connection of the conductor without stripping. This represents a drastic 60% reduction in wiring time. The conductor is connected simply, reliably and very quickly with just one turn of a standard screwdriver.
Similar to spring-cage connection, the DT direct connection system is a spring-based design which enables connection of solid or ferruled conductors without the need for any installation tools. Solid conductors are simply pushed into the terminal block, only requiring the use of a screwdriver if the conductor needs to be disconnected.
