GE Panametrics introduces the DigitalFlow Series, a new line of ultrasonic flowmeters based on the company's award-winning TransPort® portable flowmeters. Using Digital Signal Processing circuitry and GE Panametrics' patented Correlation Transit-Time™ technique, the new DigitalFlow Series flowmeters are accurate, reliable and drift-free in a wide variety of conditions.
The GM868 general-purpose flowmeter measures gas flow in pipes or ducts ranging from 25 mm tubing to flue stacks over 7.60 metres in diameter with appropriate transducers.
Innovative configurations for installation of its ultrasonic transducers meet pipe or duct size and other application-oriented requirements. This obstructionless meter has very wide rangeability, causes no pressure drop and requires no regular maintenance. Analog and digital outputs in velocity and actual volumetric flow rate are standard.
