Whether you require a bright, metallic finish, free from staining and ferrous residue, or a specific surface profile to prepare for coating, AMACAST is the answer. Exceeding the life of aluminium oxide, glass beads, mineral abrasive, garnet or slag by up to a thousand-to-one, AMACAST can significantly reduce your raw materials and disposal costs.
AMACAST is the most cost effective stainless steel shot due to its hardness, longer life and superior performance. At a minimum density 7 g/cc, AMACAST is denser than any other stainless steel shot on the market, translating to delivery of more cleaning energy per cm2 to the work surface. This results in improved rate of cleaning, thereby lowering production costs and blast time requirements.In addition, AMACAST's superior durability provides consistent distribution by remaining in the work-mix long after other abrasives have fructured and been removed.
