The QWM Pty Ltd manufactured horse weigher is fitted with artificial grass to the weighing surface to reduce the stress to the horse as it enters and exits the weighing surface. Entry and exit ramps are also integrated with the weigher.
One side rail is also integrated with the weigher, providing a safety barrier between man and beast. An optional second guide rail may also be integrated upon request.
A digital weight display is used to display the weight of the horse to the operator. The indicator is usually fitted to two or three metres of cable from the weighing area, enabling it to be mounted near the weigher on a wall, post or desk.
