Laser Coding, for High Quality Real-time Coding and Marking

Matthews Intelligent Identification - Our Solaris range of steered beam Laser coders deliver high quality real-time coding & marking on moving or stationary products. Our lasers can be used to print fixed or variable information onto products or packages, by removing material from the substrate or by changing the surface of the substrate during the production process.

Our lasers are capable of coding and marking a wide variety of products regardless of their size, shape or material. They deliver smooth continuous coding on paper, inked cardboard, foils, plastics, wood, glass, coated metals and many others.

Perfect for permanent and flexible marking of alphanumeric text, dates, serial numbers, barcodes, 2D codes and graphics; our Solaris lasers are capable of marking at even the most demanding line speeds.

The lasers are simple to install, easy to use and maintenance-free over thousands of operational hours. Exceptional reliability and nil consumable costs (as normally associated with printing), attributes to low cost of ownership.

Models of Laser Coding:

  • Solaris e-SolarMark CO² Laser
The e-SolarMark is a steered-beam CO² laser marking and coding system with the ability to code on to materials ranging from paper to plastics to glass. Requiring no consumables, the e-SolarMark is both stationary and “on the fly” print enabled. It is one of the fastest steered beam printers available and also has a very flexible marking head installation capability. It features an intuitive, touch-screen interface, and also has fully networkable capabilities.
  • Solaris e-SolarMark Fibre Laser
The e-SolarMark FL is a laser marking/coding system with the ability to code on to materials ranging from flexible packaging such as foils to metal and plastics. Requiring no consumables, the fibre laser is both stationary and “on the fly” enabled, is compact and modular in design and features an intuitive, touch-screen interface. A key feature of this laser technology is that it will not pierce flexible packaging films and does not generally require a special marking field.
  •  Solaris SolarJet 3.0 Laser
The SolarJet 3.0 is a high speed CO² laser coding/marking system with the ability to mark a wide variety of materials including paper, metals, wood and glass. Requiring no consumables, the laser is both stationary and “on the fly” enabled, is compact and modular in design and features an intuitive, touch-screen interface.
