Novotechnik has released the LWX linear potentiometer with IP67 protection.
Based on the LWG model this all-metal device is designed for extreme environments and incorporates pressure equalisation technology. It is designed specifically for mechanical, automotive, industrial and robotic applications requiring long life.
Like the LWG it has a spherical bearing mounting style with a range of strokes up to 750 mm.
Its features include: corrosion resistant; differential pressure compensation for pump effect of push rod movement; resistance to oil and water; twin bearing actuating rod; high resolution better than 0.01 mm; high linearity to ±0.04%; long life up to 50 million cycles; a mounting that eliminates backlash providing higher accuracy.
