Designing your rack system couldn't be easier, just select the type of rack, the height, and depth, then drag components on to it from a visual menu system. Moving components around is a simple matter of just dragging them around the rack system. No more having to work out what goes in what RU first, just do it on the fly. We have included all the smarts into the system. Nothing can be installed where it is not supposed to be, so you are free to design without the worry of not knowing whether something will fit or not.
Once the rack has been designed you can save to your own area either for your own records, or so you work on it more later. You can also produce a detailed printout showing all components and their locations in the rack. Ideal if you want to be sure what happens on site is exactly what you want. You can also request a quote for the rack components from B&R Enclosures, or produce a shopping list of all items in a job.
Ausrack ID includes not only rack components, but also common servers, patch panels etc., from some of the biggest manufacturers in the world. If we don't have it, that's no problem either, as you can configure your own items.
