Absolutely safe handling & installation of plate glass up to 1250kg via overhead crane. The OKTOPUS® GLK Series is the universal device for roof and wall assembly on construction sites. It conforms to AS4992--2004 section 5 and fulfils the European DIN EN 13155 standard.
Manual turning by 360° and is 45° grid lockable.
Manual tilting by 90° and is 18° grid lockable.
Description:
• Fitted with from 4 and up to 16 x 400mm diameter suction cups
• Dual safety system--2 independent vacuum circuits
• Each vacuum circuit has a 2-fold safety and an integrated vacuum reservoir
• Two integrated vacuum meters (1 per circuit) and one charge meter
• Visual and acoustic warning facilities signal any deviation of the set condition
• Power supply: 24v on board rechargeable battery system. Charger not integrated
• Main-independent high capacity accumulator for the current supply
• Avoidance of unintentional release through a dual signal actuation
• Extension arms allow the handling of larger sized panes
• Safety and security is ensured via a key lockable switch
There are also additional models with hydraulic tilt capabilities and models for curved glass panes.
