Technical & Scientific Equipment Co - bbe Moldaenke (Germany), manufacturer of biomonitors for toxicity assessment has released a new toximeter for the protection of water supplies.

The ToxProtect is a cost-effective biomonitor designed for the early detection of harmful substances from accidental or malicious contamination.

The ToxProtect is sensitive to a wide range of toxins which affect test organisms (fish) comparable to humans. It reduces false alarms to an absolute minimum, is easy to operate and provides protection around the clock. Maintenance is low, consequential changes are thus affordable even on a low budget.

An optional dechlorination unit is also available. Various additional sensors can be added to the instrument according to on-site conditions. The new biomonitor is one of the established series developed and manufactured by bbe, whose range of biomonitors also includes an Algae Toximeter, a Daphnia Toximeter and a Fish Toximeter.
