SEI Carbide Australia - Solid Carbide Threadmills have been developed for use on C.N.C. machines with the capacity to utilise circular interpolation.

They are manufactured using 5-axis CNC grinding machines to achieve extremely fine tolerances, highest quality and repeatability.

Our tools are available with Straight, Right-hand or Left-hand spiral flutes, the helical flute gives a smoother cut and longer tool life. The Left-hand spiral flute cutter is recommended where chip evacuation is a problem, for example when the tool is used in a horizontal mode.

Tools are produced from micro grain carbide, with through coolant if specified and coated, to maximise tool life and cutting speeds. The spiral flutes on the thread mills makes them suitable to use on a wide range of materials including Aerospace, High Alloy and Stainless Steels.
