SpillSmart Drain Filters
Storm water pollution has become a major concern both locally and on a national level. The SpillSmart Drain Filter has been designed to safeguard the storm water by capturing contaminates before they enter the water system.
The SpillSmart Drain Filter’s unique design uses a polypropylene fabric and organic absorbent sock to capture contaminates whilst still allowing the water to pass through. Held in place by the metal grate, it effectively removes coarse sediments, oil, grease, litter and debris from storm water.
The SpillSmart Drain Filter is an effective solution for parking lots, vehicle storage / service areas, construction sites and industrial plants, where oil and grease from cars and trucks left on the surface is easily carried into the storm water drains.
The SpillSmart Drain Filter is also effective as a guard in case of emergency spills, capturing spills whilst allowing emergency spill response teams to activate.
The SpillSmart Drain Filter is available in various sizes to suit most storm water catch basins or custom sized SpillSmart Drain Filters can be made to suit your application.
