Altronic Distributors - Altronic Distributors have recently added a array of super capacitors to their extensive component range.

These electric double-layer capacitors are supplied in two types depending on manufacturer requirements.

For high current peak power backup applications a 2.7V range is available in 5, 25 and 100 farads. When low current long period back- up is required 2.3V versions in 10, 50 and 220 farads may be used.

These are ideal for lighting, traffic signage, memory and emergency backup purposes.

Industry development of Supercaps is occurring at a rapid pace and Altronic Distributors hope to expand this range as technology and manufacturer requirements evolve.
