Following packaging of various products from vertical form fill and sealing machines, can result in a pear shaped bag which when placed in cardboard boxes will in turn pose issues with the closing and sealing operation.
Many examples of damaged products due to cartons collapasing, unsafe pallets and carton closing problems exist in various industries.
By subjecting the bags to a controlled period of vibration following filling and sealing will in most cases result in the material in the bag being flattened into a more desirable shape without causing any damage to the product.
Since most packaging stations involve automatic transportation of the filled bags Enmin's Vibratory Compaction Conveyor will accept the bags, vibrate them into shape and deliver them to the carton closing and sealing station.
The design has taken on board all the prerequisites of acceptable vibrating conveyor design with safety and noise considerations. The endless conveyor belt can be changed easily with minimum time and without the use of special tools.
Various models of vibrating conveyors are available with differing belt widths and lengths and capacity to accept bags of 100 grams through to 50 kg in weight.
