Redispan launches an open modular conveyor in Mackay

Redispan – the modular conveyor manufacturer – will be now launching its newest product – Safe-T-Veyor (R) – at the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition in Mackay. To find out more information about the Robotic Welding Facility please click here.

This modular conveyor, compliant with the Australian Standard AS1755, is especially designed to address the requirement of the mining and materials industries in tropical regions.

Unlike other businesses, the mining and minerals, material handling and ship loading companies in remote and tropical areas often require open structures for their conveyors as this helps to get rid of the excess heat, and allows easy air circulation – which is essential for the comfort of personnel.

Redispan's open structure conveyor is the first of its kind, and is patented nationally and internationally.  Delivered in flat pack form, it minimises the logistics in remote site projects.

This latest product, which has already been delivered to the United Arab Emirates, New Guinea and New Caledonia, is a very cost-effective solution that can be assembled on site without any hot work. All its components are hot dip galvanised after the manufacturing processing. It can be delivered preassembled or by flat pack delivery.

Peter Lee, General Manager of Redispan says, "We are expecting to get product recognition in the exhibition at Mackay, because of the area attribute, and eventually get market penetration.

"It will be available in the market straight after the launch."
