23/05/2012 - Remote displays were recently fitted to four of Ultrahawke’s digital weighbridges recently installed at the Winneke Water Treatment Plant in Victoria.

The weighbridge remote displays show the vehicle weights to the truck drivers as the vehicles are filled with sludge from overhead augers.

The weighbridge weights are cross checked with the allowable truck GVM to ensure the loaded trucks conform to legal weight limits and are not at risk of incurring overloading fines while removing the sludge from the plant.

The large digit remote displays allow the drivers to verify the loaded weights of their vehicles before removing the waste sludge from the treatment plant.

Fitted with high visibility daylight LED digits 125mm high, these remote displays offer clear viewing even in bright sunlight.

The display housings are rated for outdoors using powder coated cast aluminum housings that are water-proof and fitted with a shatter-proof glass window.

The remote displays are pole mounted adjacent to the weighbridges with all cabling for power and data signal run through the metal pole for safety. A power isolation switch is fitted under the remote displays to allow for servicing requirements.

Ultrahawke is Australia's largest manufacturer of weighbridges and has the ability to supply weighbridges using either analog load cells or fully digital load cell systems.
