Pumpability offers both electric and hydraulic-drive submersible pumps.
As the Australian representative of Robot Pumps from the Netherlands, Pumpability can offer a wide range of heavy-duty pumps in cast iron, hard irons or stainless steel for many applications.
The pumps are available with guide rail mountings, header couplings or in freestanding and immersible forms.
The Robot guide rail and header coupling features a unique three-way jointing system making for a leak tight joint regardless of pump pressure.
All pumps are also available with thermostats or thermistors in the motor windings and seal moisture detectors. (Some of these features are standard in the larger pumps.)

Applications in Process and General Industry
Svedala Robot submersible pumps are suitable for many potential applications in general process industries, such as for emptying tanks or sumps of process or waste products.
Full stainless steel construction with protected submersible cables is available for chemical applications and most motors are suitable for hot water applications.
Other particular applications have included pumping turkey feathers and pumping waste process water and pieces in potato processing.
Applications in Water and Wastewater
Perhaps the most common application of Svedala Robot electric submersible pumps is in waste water.
The pumps are used extensively in municipal and private sewerage systems for the transport of sewage and for various duties about the treatment works.
The Robot grinder pumps are ideal for pressure sewerage applications. A full design service is available for pressure sewerage applications using the Robot RS series of submersible grinder pumps.
Applications in Construction
Svedala Robot submersible pumps are of heavy-duty construction and have been used for temporary or permanent dewatering on construction projects.
The high-head vortex pumps are particularly suited to high-head/low-flow situations with a solids clearance of 50 mm through the pump.
The pumps are available in free-standing form for movement about the site and there are models available in Ni-hard 4 or high chrome irons for particularly abrasive or slurry applications.
These hard-iron pumps are also used for dredging.
Applications in Mining and Mineral Processing
The high-head vortex pumps are particularly suited to handling dirty water and have a solids clearance of 50 mm or more through the pump.
Pumps are available in full stainless steel for chemically aggressive situations and in Ni-hard 4 or high chrome irons for use in abrasive duties or for handling aggressive slurries.
