Electronic Position Switches (EPS) is the first product in SafeMove, ABB's new generation robot safety concept.

SafeMove builds on the latest developments in redundant software and electronics- based safety solutions, as well as updated safety regulations, in order to provide safe predictable robot motion.

Output - 5 safe outputs, each freely configurable
Input - 1 safe input, for synchronizing EPS and robot controller
Axes covered - Axes 1-6
Safety regulations - Machinery Directive 98/37/EC, ISO 13849-1, ISO 10218-1
Safety category - Category 3 according to ISO 13849-1/EN 954
