Currently, we are a major supplier of rubber components to defence industries, where we successfully compete with other established international suppliers. Customers include Australian Army, NZ Army, and other overseas forces. Mackay is an approved supplier to United Defence L.P. Employing unique technology - developed in conjunction with the Aeronautical and Maritime Research Laboratory - Mackay manufactures complete track link assemblies and road wheels for armoured vehicles. This includes the M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers and the latest generation of high speed infantry fighting vehicles. Mackay products exhibit significantly improved performance and durability compared to the original equipment.

From design to prototypes, and simulated service testing to finished proven products, Mackay offers a complete service to Defence customers combined with the application of rigorous quality standards through the entire process. Small volume complex components for original equipment or replacement parts can be manufactured to the same exacting standards in our fabrication section.
