Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP), headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, was established in 1968 to manufacture and market products for the commercial and institutional markets.

Throughout its almost 40 year history, RCP demonstrated leadership consistent with its heritage. Today, Rubbermaid Commercial Products is a division of Newell Rubbermaid Inc. It continues to develop innovative products and system solutions in the categories of food service, cleaning, safety, material handling, waste and agriculture. Manufacturing and distribution are handled from five facilities: four in the US and one in Mexico. Rubbermaid was formed in 1920 as the Wooster Rubber Company, a maker of toy balloons. In 1934, the company pioneered the rubber housewares business with the introduction of the first rubber dustpan.
