Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP), headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, was established in 1968 to manufacture and market products for the commercial and institutional markets.
Throughout its almost 40 year history, RCP demonstrated leadership consistent with its heritage. In the 1970’s, RCP led in the technology conversion from metal and wood to plastic and in the 1980’s, it led in the development of high performance industrial and agricultural products. 1986 also saw RCP expand into the cleaning implements business with the acquisition of Seco Industries, a leading manufacturer of floorcare products.
