Millsom Materials Handling - Lifting capacities from 9kg to 300kg. KROMER Spring Balancers are distinguished by their conical cable drum which ensures that the retraction force remains virtually constant, regardless of the cable travel.

As a result, the position is retained after the attached tool has been used. Spring Balancers permit fatigue-free working, even over prolonged periods of time.

Arresting Mechanism
Most versions of both the retractors and balancers are available with an automatic Arresting Mechanism. This mechanism stops the retraction process in any required position, provided the tool is retracted slowly. If the tool retracts rapidy, the arresting mechanism does not operate. This feature is particularly useful when there is a need to prevent the tool from returning to its original starting position.
