The Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) is the peak national body that represents the interests of companies specifically in the advanced manufacturing, machine tool and ancillary equipment sector - whether they are manufacturers, importers or distributors, and also general manufacturing technology companies.

The mission statement of the Institute is 'to educate and support our members to build a more successful Australian manufacturing industry.' In support of this commitment, AMTIL has developed a range of services tailored specifically to its member’s needs. AMTIL offers seminars and conferences, networking opportunities, education and training, trade institute support on industry issues, regular industry updates plus education, marketing and promotional opportunities through the Austech manufacturing technology exhibition and AMT magazine.
