Rapid Roll Doors are suitable for a wide range of applications including climate (temperature/humidity) and environmental control (wind/rain/dust /noise) and security.
Albany Door Systems Rapid Roll doors improve access, productivity, safety and security, and offer fast, reliable performance, with doors opening at speeds up to 3m/sec.

A safety reversing edge on the bottom beam and an in- line photocell maintain safe operation on our high speed Rapid Roll doors.

The tensioned; Counter-balanced RollTex door blade on our Rapid Roll doors keeps the blade in tension at all times. It is a monofiliament woven polyester and comes with a five (5) year warranty.

Actuators - Pull Switches
Pull switches are also operated manually and mounted on ceilings, overhand structures, etc.

Actuators - Key switches
Mounted on walls or columns in the vicinity of a door, key switches are a further option used to open and close doors.

Actuators - Induction Loop
An induction loop is laid in the floor and olny reacts to metal objects. Pedestrians are not detected by the induction loop, but both moving and stationary vehicles are.

Actuators - Radio Remote Control / Radio Transmitter
The radio transmitter sends out a signal, which is picked up by the aerial on the receiver, which then emits the switch command.

We distinguish between two func­tions on the photoelectric barrier:

Actuators - Multibeam Light Barrier
In comparison to a photoelectric barrier a multibeam light barrier covers a substantially larger area in front of the door closing level.

Radar motion detectors only react to moving objects.

Actuators - Infrared Motion Detectors
Infrared motion detectors are suited to personnel and vehicular traffic.

Actuators - Passiv-infrared Motion Detector
Passiv-Infrared motion detecors react only to moving objects.

Actuators - Aktiv-infrared Motion Detector
In comparison to radar motion detectors or passiv-infrared motion detectors the Aktiv-Infrared motion detector react objects and people without movement.

Actuators - Traffic Lights As Safety Devices (Red / Green)
Traffic lights, either red/green or only red or only green for visual coverage, can be combined with each actuator.
