The Italian WAMGROUP, a world-wide leader in developing and manufacturing equipment and plant components for bulk solids handling and processing, has been represented in Australia by its own subsidiary since 1997. WAM Australia is responsible for the distribution of the WAMGROUP product range in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and parts of Micronesia. In May 1999, formal agency agreements were put in place for New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland. Official resellers were also established in New Zealand and the Northern Territory. The company is situated in Kilsyth, in the outskirts of Melbourne, and its premises include an extensive warehouse and after-sales service facility.
