28/04/2009 - Accuweigh Melbourne branch recently supplied multiple test weights with NATA Certification to Alpine MDF in Wangaratta. The test weights are to be used for checking the accuracy of electronic balances used during the quality testing of their manufactured MDF.
The test weights are of stainless steel construction complete with a NATA traceability Certificate to ensure compliance to internal quality standards of Alpine MDF. The high accuracy test weights were supplied in protective wooden cases for minimising external damage to the test weights when not in use.
Alpine manufactures Medium Density Fibreboard as used in the building industry from the sustainable plantation radiata pine forests of North East Victoria that reach maturity in about 25 years. Medium Density Fibreboard is viewed favourably as a substitute for tropical hardwood which can take 200 years to reach maturity.
