• Web cleaning manifold – a well proven combination of uniquely designed face plates, brushes, and static eliminators to break up the web boundary layer and provide excellent contamination removal.
• Compact Extraction Unit - a filtration unit with variable vacuum power and filter condition monitoring, housed in a stainless steel cabinet and requiring a 13A single phase supply. The unit can be interfaced for remote on/off and filter condition monitorring.
• Filtration – as standard, rated to 1 micron.
• Silencing – as standard to 74dBA.

Stainless Steel Faceplate

Unique machined stainless steel faceplates in ‘kissing’ contact with the web provide optimum web cleaning performance. By creating very high turbulence and simultaneously concentrating the vacuum, airflows on the web remove all but the tiniest particles - removal to 1 micron is standard.

Ionisation

Two Meech ionising systems go into each Tornado F4 manifold for static charge neutralisation. Ionising the air before the vacuum head breaks the electrostatic bond holding contaminants to the web to enable effective dust removal. Another ionising bar after cleaning ensures the web will not be re-contaminated.

Simple Installation

Tornado F4 is supplied with universal mounting brackets for simple installation in any position in any machine. The highly adjustable brackets ensure that the cleaner is positioned for maximum web cleaning efficiency.
