DIN 43880 Compliant
Housed in DIN 43880 compliant enclosures the TSC1-DIN allows for convenient installation on DIN rail fittings commonly used in switchboards worldwide.
Safe metal enclosure
The TSC1-DIN is housed in a safe all metal enclosure. In the event of a prolonged overvoltage they will not catch fire or explode.

The TSC1-DIN/EC model features dual functionality: surge counting and earth clamping. During a surge, sites with separate earthing systems are highly susceptible to damage caused by differences in earth potential. This is a major cause of equipment damage.
The TSC1-DIN/EC overcomes the problem by employing a very high-energy gas-filled surge arrester that electrically clamps separate earthing systems together during disturbances. Upon restoration of normal conditions the earth clamp automatically resets and the earthing systems are again isolated.
