DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control System is a hybrid treatment where zinc alloy hybrid anodes are embedded discretely into the concrete structure and in a two stage process are used in an impressed current phase and then converted to a galvanic phase to control corrosion for the structures design life.
The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system initially operates under a high current constant voltage power supply to re-passivate corroding reinforcement steel, once corrosion control criteria have been achieved the anode is connected to the steel and continues to control corrosion by way of a galvanic current. Permanent reference electrodes can be installed allowing constant monitoring and confirmation of corrosion control and with no need for permanent power The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system offers maintenance free corrosion control.
