Backplane Systems Technology is pleased to release Perfectron's 1U Rackmount Fanless Rugged System, the ROC235A. This Industrial Grade Server is based on Intel's® QM77 chipset and supports Intel's® high performance Core i3-3120ME (35W), Core i5-3610ME (35W) and Core i7-3610QE (45W) processors.


The ROC235A also features wide range DC inputs (9V~24V), wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C and supports dual 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM system memory up to 8GB DDR3 1333/1600 SDRAM capacity. These key features make it an ideal solution for digital signage, industrial automation and self-service applications. 

The ROC235A's unique thermal design solution incorporates 6 copper liquid-vapor vacuum tubes (Heat-Pipes) which efficiently manages the system's heat dissipation. This rugged mechanical structure also provides better vibration resistance and the ability to maintain perfect computing performance.
The ROC235A features a black finish and measures 44mm (1.73") high. Instead of a fan, the enclosure features large, open honeycomb vents on the top, sides, front and back to allow for natural convection cooling. 
One or more honeycomb heat dissipating vents can be installed around the circuit board or power supply, this heat dissipating design can dispel heat quickly via the honeycomb cells without occupying much space. 
The unique design increases the heat dissipating area, allowing for a faster cooling effect. 
The ROC235A Rackmount Server contains rich indicators including power, HDD and LAN LEDs located in the front panel. For easy integration with a variety of applications, a versatile range of I/O connections are available such as three display interfaces (HDMI, DVI-D and VGA), audio Mic-in, Line-out, one COM port, two Ethernet LAN and four USB. Plus onboard one PCI or one PCIe plus one mPCIe expansion slot allows users to add additional functionality such as Wifi or GPRS.
