Depending on the operating sector, the logistics of in-house handling can be efficiently integrated with picking stations, roller and chain conveyors, shuttles, lifts and automatic-guided vehicles. Suitably combined, they can optimize and coordinate at best, all handling steps.
As an alternative to traditional roller and chain conveyors, to solve the articulated problems of shunting and "ventilation" of modern warehouses that feature higher flows and a frequent picking activity, System Logistics developed a new handling system called the System Vehicle Loop (SVL).
This innovative handling solution is performed by a set of independent vehicles, moving on a monorail loop fixed to the ground. This new shunting system for loading units, satisfies continuous and sequential handling processes that can occur at the start of an automated warehouse, thus avoiding all those "inelasticity" problems of traditional systems.
