An Industry expert with a well known and respected exhibitions company handling the 2008 National Manufacturing Week Expo, says that a DVD presentation on a tradeshow stand is an important and effective marketing strategy that reaps results.
There are currently no official figures on the number of stands that do have a professional DVD presentation, but he estimates that about 30% of exhibitors now have a DVD presentation most of which are professionally created, (a poor DVD presentation can do more harm than good).
He says that he would like to see a big increase in the number of exhibitors with a professional DVD presentation as the more colour and movement brought to the show the better for all concerned as it helps create a vibrant atmosphere which then in turn delivers a better show for everyone. He would also like to see companies investing in DVD’s as training tools as he feels that the NMW expo is also a great learning experience for many people who visit the show.
When asked what were some of the reasons that not all exhibitors had a DVD presentation, he mused for a moment then said, “well maybe they just had not thought about it or thought about it too late”.
Our source anticipates that the 2008 show will be bigger than ever and that the companies who showcase themselves well will have an excellent return on their investment, as did the companies which attended in 2006 and 2007 you can view the statics from these shows at the NMW website http://www.nationalmanufacturingweek.com.au/
If you are thinking about taking a stand at the show now is also the time to start thinking about creating your tradeshow DVD to maximise your exposure.
