The award-winning JK700 series of Nd:YAG lasers has long been the benchmark by which pulsed Nd:YAG laser performance has been measured. In our next generation JK300D drilling laser, GSI Group has combined over three decades expertise in industrial laser manufacture with enhanced technologies for the best overall value, dependability, and cost of ownership for users of pulsed lasers.

JK300D marks the introduction of the first fiber delivered 300W Nd:YAG drilling laser within the JK product range. This laser's peak power performance has been increased to 16kW providing sufficient energy to percussion-drill a wide range of automotive and aerospace components.

Our Luminator fiber further optimises the drilled hole by homogenising the power distribution giving a virtually flat top-hat profile, dimensionally round holes with a minimal recast layer. The JK 300D maintains the unique JK features via LaserView' control technology, complete cycle programming triggered by a single command, and patented Luminator fiber optic beam delivery with back-reflection protection.

Increased process benefits come from pulse shaping capability for tighter process control - faster shutter interface for quicker response on parameter changes and more precise timing in time-share mode, and fully integrated time and energy shares for faster switching and reduced maintenance costs.
