Kortho Hotprinter M-100/150

Supplier: Easyprint Australia

The Kortho Hotprinter M-100/150 is the way to economy and quality in coding and printing on packaging and products. Korthofah's Hotprinters produce high-quality, scratch-resistant printing during the production process itself on various types of material, such as many kinds of film - but also on paper, cardboard, plastics, rubber, leather and many others.

The Kortho Hotprinter M-100/150 can be integrated into intermittent or continuous packaging machines, form-fill-seal machines (e.g. for the production of building materials, cattle feed, plant potting soil, artificial fertilizers, dairy products), blister packing machines (for the pharmaceutical industry), vacuum forming machines (for printing in single or multiple sections), but can also function as a table-top model.

The Hotprinter M-100/150 is compact and easily built in, is of robust construction and comes up to the latest quality standards. The Hotprinter M-100/150 is powered by the Kortho Hotprinter control box.

The Hotprinter M-100/150 is extremely suitable for printing variable texts such as product composition, type, product name, bar code, logo, recycle symbol, EU symbol, price, dates and so on.

Standardisation of packaging materials and -films provides considerable savings in stock management, reversing times and left-over rolls. The direct imprinting of variable data on packaging film also does away with labels, resulting in considerable savings.

Korthofah's own design department and engraving shop helps developing the best solution for every coding requirement. Simple stamping dies or extensive combined textholders can be produced according to the customer's specifications on short term.

Korthofah supplies various accessories that provide flexibility in the layout of the easily changed print- heads. Many combinations are possible using single characters, text blocks, adjustable datewheels, numbering units and magnesium stamping dies.

The imprint on the packaging is made using Hotfoil. The heated printhead presses the Hotfoil briefly onto the packaging material. The pigment carried by the Hot- print foil is transferred to the packaging where it adheres instantly. Hotfoil is available in a variety of colours and types and can be cut by Korthofah to the required width and length.
