A client of Flexshield had set up a drilling operation in a residential street to drill lines to run electrical services through.
Noise sources were both from the drill rig itself, and also from other site equipment such as the air compressor and generator.
The drilling company received warning from the Environmental Protection Agency local residents had submitted official complaints due to the noise levels.
The EPA visited the drilling site and conducted noise testing showing the levels were outside the allowable regulation.
The project was instructed to cease operation, meaning downtime and an increased cost for the contractor.
Within hours of first contact with the client, Flexshield was packing up for delivery 50LM of Sonic Curtains to hang on the temporary fence that the client had already installed.
The Noise Control Curtains were quickly zipped tied to the fence and upon a second test by the EPA, the site was given the green-light to proceed.
A local resident commented the noise levels had reduced dramatically.
Noise control curtains can be used on fencing, scaffolding and hording.
