Performance improvements to insulated heating jackets

LMK Thermosafe is always striving to improve the performance of its insulated heater jackets for drums and Intermediate Bulk Containers at no cost to customers!

In 2016 LMK Thermosafe has taken another step in differentiating its products from those of their competitors in two ways:

Fully Tested Ingress Protections Rating.  While other manufacturers may claim some degree of ingress protection, LMK Thermosafe has always steered clear of excessive claims, particularly when it comes to liquid ingress protection.  Following extensive product development and testing, we can now confirm that standard insulated heater jackets in the range are now all IP44 rated, that is protected against objects more than 1mm in size and against water spray from all sides.  The new Weatherheat® seam sealing technology also introduces the first IP56 rated insulated heater jacket, that is virtually dust proof and able to withstand high pressure hosing or heavy seas.

Power increases to some standard jackets.  LMK Thermosafe has worked hard to give customers more wattage – that is power to heat.  The standard HHD 205 litre insulated drum jacket has increased by 10% to 1100w with the additional benefit that it is now the full 850mm height of the drum.  The Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) heater jackets have also increased in power. The IBC1, designed for keeping product warm in winter has had a 7.5% increase to 1400w, while the IBC2, designed to heat product up to 60 – 70°C, is a massive 27% more powerful at 2800w.  Finally, the IBC3 for really hard to heat product is now 26% more powerful at 3990w.  Relentlessly developing its product means that LMK Thermosafe’s insulated heater jackets continue to be unsurpassed in performance and range and is the reason that they remain the world leader in this technology.
