Brendma stocks a variety of lagging material for any type of roller. The bonuses of using roller lagging materials are:

  • To Help prevent belt slippage
  • Increase the coefficient of friction
  • Protects pulleys from damage
  • Allows for lower belt tensioning and greater driving power

All lagging services can be completed either in our workshop or onsite if required. Alternatively, we can also sell the materials and adhesives so you can lag the product yourself if desired.

Roller Lagging

One of our special products is Derco Friction Tape, made from PVC coated cotton fabric. Over the years Derco have developed this product into a high-quality material with a remarkably long life cycle.

Friction Tape comes in both self adhesive and dry back (non-adhesive) form. The materials come in  white colour and are grease/oil resistant. All rolls are 50mm wide.

PVC Non-slip Material

Also made from Derco PVC, our non-slip material can be bonded easily with the appropriate adhesive due to its cotton bottom side. It can be applied in a wide range of industries and works particularly well on drive rollers and tracking idlers. Rolls come in any width desired.

Roughtop Lagging

Rubber roughtop lagging is successful for rollers which require extra grip and extra driving power in harsher conditions. Our roughtop lagging normally is provided between 3-6mm thick.

We also have special grease/oil resistant rubber roughtop lagging for those roller applications in greasy conditions eg. poultry/meat industry.

Rubber Lagging

Conventional rubber lagging is also available at Brendma. We stock many different types such as Standard Skirting/Insertion lagging, Linatex, Diamond Pattern, Tyre Tread and Giant Dimple FDA rubber, just to name a few.
