Shink-wrapping ensures maximum protection of items

Our newest packing service includes heat shrink wrapping of sensitive cargo prior to the item going into the crate or wrapping the entire crate.

Aussie Crates do their own shrink-wrapping in house to lower the costs to clients. Heat shrink-wrapping proves to be necessary when transporting sensitive items across the land, air or sea.

Our packing staff wrap the entire product or crate loosely with the shrink wrap first, sealing all edges with heat-proof tape. Heat is then aired on the wrapped item, which shrinks to cling onto the item, locking it away from any dust and moisture.

Aussie Crates provide other packaging services on top shrink wrapping, including:

  • Bubble wrap
  • Cling wrap
  • Packing felt
  • Plastic lining
  • Steel strapping
  • Tar paper lining
  • Foam lining
  • Intercept Stretch & Shrink
  • Intercept Anti-static bag
  • Plywood lining
