Companies can now choose the Solid Edge licensing option that best aligns to their projects and budgets. This will make it easier for Solid Edge customers to increase productivity, get to market faster and lower their total cost of ownership.
There are four packages levels available with Solid Edge and each package can be licensed on a Perpetual or Subscription/Rental basis.
Solid Edge has four packages and can be viewed here. These packages can be licensed either by:
- Traditional Perpetual License with optional Maintenance & Support
- Node Locked: tied to 1 computer
- Floating or Networked: available to any approved users on a company network
- Permanent license file: will continue with or without active Maintenance & Support
- Offline Subscription License
- Node Locked: tied to 1 computer
- In 3, 6 or 12 month rental periods
- Ordered through EDGE plm
- Includes full support
- Online Subscription License
- Node Locked: tied to 1 computer
- 1 or 12 month rental periods
- Subscription Online via Credit Card
- Includes full support
