The importance of reliable supply

Supplier: Global Spill Control
26 June, 2013

Reliable supply throughout industry is paramount, especially in the environmental sector.

Timely and reliable supply of materials and parts is critical to the bottom line of all businesses. Unreliable supply of critical products can affect your ability to supply your customers and can cause significant cost blowouts if you are a manufacturer.

Slow or non-supply of environmental protection equipment can also cause significant problems for your business. An audit failure can be personally embarrassing for those responsible and even worse the clean-up costs and fines associated with accidental spills can destroy a company's annual profit in a matter of hours and your job prospects.

Rapid accessibility to spill control and clean-up equipment is an important part of a company's duty of care to their employees and the environment.  If a company handles, stores or transports liquids of any kind it is also has an obligation to be compliant with federal and state regulations.

Global Spill Control recognises the significance of supply. We are continuously striving to better serve our customers and partners by timely and reliable provision of land and marine spill control and clean-up equipment. To meet our company's delivery policy of dispatching goods within 24 hours we have strategically placed warehouses throughout Australia.

Each warehouse is stocked with products most likely to be required in your area.  In addition, each East Coast warehouse is so positioned that if it does not have a particular item it can be sent overnight from another warehouse.  For Western Australia out of stock goods dispatched Tuesday from our main warehouse in Melbourne are delivered to you Friday and goods dispatched Friday are delivered Monday.

To further assist our 24-hour delivery policy we do not rely on imported product.  We are not affected by delayed ships, wharf strikes or stock shortages due to miscalculations in purchasing finished-goods from overseas suppliers. Ninety-eight per cent of all products we stock are manufactured in-house with materials sourced from established and reliable Australian companies.

Our national supply capability can also assist national organisations to streamline purchasing, reduce costs and improve efficiency.
