Ansac have a range of rotary dryers suitable for any kind of drying application. Ansac can provide either direct fired or indirect fired kilns for drying applications.
Ansac’s indirect fired HK Series kilns are ideal for drying products which are fragile, high value, sticky or require atmospheric control. Indirect heating significantly reduces any gas turbulence in contact with the product. This allows for the product to be dried without producing excessive amounts of dust which can be the case in a direct fired kiln.
In addition the dryer is able to keep the combustion gases completely separate from the process gases. This means that only a portion of the exhaust gases from the unit requires treating. This can reduce costs for any dust collection or chemical treatment required for the process gases. Finally the reduced dust generation means that there is less lost product from high value product streams.
The unique sealing process Ansac adopts on its HK series kilns allows for the atmospheric control of the heating chamber and is second to none. For the drying of products which are flammable and need to be isolated from an oxidative environment, the HK series unit is the perfect choice. Unlike traditional indirect fired kilns there are no cold spots in the chamber and therefore there is very even heating throughout the unit.
For large throughput solids drying applications it is hard to go past the Ansac HD Series direct fired dryer for efficiency, consistency and cost effectiveness. For low temperature applications such as drying, Ansac produces a range of externally insulated steel shelled kilns which are more cost effective than traditional refractory lined systems. The HD series direct fired dryers can be customised to meet the individual customer’s process requirements.
