The VSD Series provides the opportunity for you to save on power and maintenance costs and is ideal for manufacturing, metal work, plastics, woodworking, automotive and other variable load conditions.

In Australia up to 10% of all industrial electricity is consumed by compressed air. During its life the energy consumption of an air compressor will exceed its purchase and service costs by up to four times. The Champion VSD range slashes energy bills by automatically varying motor speed the V-Series varies its capacity to exactly and efficiently match air demand over a broad operating range.

V-drive performance

The V-Series uses a high-efficiency MEPS-2-compliant motor with spike-resistant wire as standard. Champion’s renowned V-drive technology ensures that even when operating continuously in 50°C conditions, at 100% or minimum speed there is no torque de-rating. With IP54-rated electrics, the V-Series provides a robust design for tough Australian conditions.

The 'Optimal Flux' factor

Patented Optimal Flux Technology extends motor life, offers up to 86% turndown and eliminates forced ventilation and cooling. It delivers precise and dynamic drive-to-motor calibration, which minimises losses and delivers optimum performance, efficiency and ultimately product longevity.

Call Sullair Australia today and find out how you can save on power and maintenance costs with a Champion V-Series Compressor.
