The 50mm R2 Rotacaster omni wheel is available with a choice of four roller hardnesses, four acetal bearings, five drive inserts, a roteting hex bearing or, uniquely for this size omni wheel, a steel roller bearing.
The plain bore wheel features a 16x5mm bearing seat with a 14mm hex inner bore.
The 50mm Rotacaster is suitable as a floor wheel and for inverted conveyor transfer applications, for both driven and idle (rotational) applications.
Pound for pound, it has the highest load capacity to weight ratio in its class. It is a light, but extremely robust and capable wheel.
The 35A durometer (blue) rollers provide great traction and durability, which makes it a good performer for lightweight robotic and driven conveyor transfer applications.
The 60A durometer (orange) rollers deliver great traction and durability in conveyor transfer applications of all kinds where traction and reliability are critical.
The 95A durometer (red) rollers are suited for heavier loads, and ideal for floor wheel use, as the polyurethane rollers are highly durable. Likewise, for idler conveyor transfers, the durability of the roller is a good fit.
Rotacaster Wheel | Safe & Fast Manual Material Handling
A story of Australian ingenuity, innovation and passionate determination. We've invented the solution to an age-old problem. Think about the wheel...moving backwards and forwards, now imagine the unthinkable, a floor wheel that can move independently in all directions.
The Rotacaster Wheel, an omni-directional, multi-purpose wheel with unrivalled manoeuvrability, unlimited potential and one of the only alternatives to the traditional floor swivel castor. Realising the wheel's potential to make life quicker, easier and safer across a broad range of applications, in 2008 Rotacaster hit the market with a series of manual handling products.
Utilising the manoeuvrability and functionality of the Rotacaster omni-directional wheel, we have created practical equipment solutions that reduce workplace injury while increasing productivity.
