Drop control with a laser through beam system

Applied Measurement’s sensor range from Sensor Instruments cover a huge range of non contact measurement and control including unique applications such as Droplet control.

The number as well as the volume of drops should be controlled. At this a laser light barrier type A-LASF12-6,5x0,8-100/80 in connection with an ALAS- CON1 controller is used. At the output of the controller an analogue signal (0V … +10V or 4mA … 20mA) is available, furthermore a digital signal informs whether the number of drops is correct or whether the volume of the respective drops are in tolerance or out of tolerance. As shown in the screen shots, a proper control of the drops is possible.
