The SR series of Steering Robot products (aka Programmable Steering Controller) are designed to apply inputs to a vehicle's steering system for testing its transient handling behaviour on the test track.
It allows a wide range of steering inputs to be applied with high precision and repeatability, to enable high quality data to be gathered quickly. It can also be used for steering system testing.
The Steering Robot is available in several versions with differing motor performance. These include our standard SR30 and SR60 steering robots units which produce over 30Nm and 60Nm of torque respectively, but we also supply robots with peak torque delivery of over 150Nm if required.
The standard Steering Robot software has many in-built test profiles which reduce set up time. Additional tests may be added to meet customer requirements.
