For this, a unique code pattern is assigned to each angle increment. The number of code patterns available per revolution determines the resolution. Each code pattern forms a unique reference and is, therefore, an absolute position. There is, therefore, no need for a reference run after switching on. A single-turn encoder measures the absolute position within a revolution. A multiturn encoder provides the position within not only a revolution but also the number of revolutions.
Applications with high resistance requirements against aggressive substances such as cleaning agents or salt
Particularly suitable for use in the food and drink industry, for packaging machines, in medical technology, and in outdoor applications in ports or offshore plants
Compact 60 mm absolute encoder with up to 13107 steps
Radial connector outlet
Analogue interface 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V
Programming via keypad on the encoder
IP 68 protection class
